The Pinlock lens comes standard with the RAM-X. Light and versatile, the TX-XD shield is excellent in street riding and off-road applications giving the rider a wide field of view. The TX-XD Shield also comes in anti-fog laminated variants in Clear, Light Tint, and Dark Tint. The Pinlock lens forms a seal between the inside of the face shield and rider to mitigate fogging. The optional Pro Shade System not only offers a quick, convenient shade to block ambient light, but also the benefit of an aerodynamic peak to block sudden bursts of light when cresting a hill, rounding a canyon bend, or exiting a tunnel with just a subtle dip of the head, allowing rider´s hands to stay right where they need to be. The Pro Shade System comes installed on a MAX-V Brow Vented shield, providing an excellent field of view and maintaining the benefits of Arai´s Brow Vent intake ducts. The optional clear MAX-V BV Pinlock anti-fog insert reduces fogging without reducing your field of view. The VAS latch captures and holds the shield securely closed to help prevent unexpected opening.
